Common Questions

• Where do I post my clips for the contest?

  In our Discord Community, in the #event channel.

• How many clips can I submit to the contest?

  You can submit up to 5 clips for each Act. If more than 5 clips by the same person are submitted for an Act, only the 5 most recent will count.

• How long should each clip be?

  All clips must be shorter than 90 seconds.

• When will the winners be announced?

  The 3 winners will be announced a few days after the contest, after we've finished the voting and moderation process.

• Can I submit clips that were recorded or edited by other apps?

  No. Only clips recorded natively with Outplayed and uploaded through an outplayed.tv link are eligible for participation, using the Screen recorder feature or importing clips into Outplayed is not allowed for this contest. All clips will be moderated, and those found violating the guidelines will be disqualified.

• Can I submit clips in the form of an mp4 or a social media link?

  No. Only outplayed.tv links are eligible to participate in the contest. You can create a link for your clip using the "Get a shareable link" option in the Sessions or Editor tab.

• Which games should I clip for the contest?

  Any game that you think would make appropriate and interesting content!

• How many winners will the contest have?

  The contest will feature 3 winners, one for each Act of the contest. Each winner will win $300 through Tremendous and a limited-edition Outplayed T-Shirt.

• How are my entries being judged?

  Your clips will be judged according to each category and by their editing and entertainment value. These parameters are subject to each judge's own interpretation.

• Who is judging the entries?

  The clips are being judged by Outplayed's team and Discord staff.
